Wellness Tip: Stargazing

One of the pillars of self-compassion is a recognition of our common humanity – when we are feeling stressed out, remembering that we are part of something bigger than ourselves can be very helpful.  And what could be bigger than the universe!  Stargazing has been shown to decrease stress because it reminds us that there is a whole universe out there that we are connected to, a whole sky that we share.
